Because “set it and forget it” applies to automations, not product development, we’re back with Appmixer 6.2 — pushing boundaries to make automation simpler and more secure for SaaS teams and their customers.
With the latest version, we’re introducing updates to the canvas, integration wizard, and security & audit features, plus a major step forward in deployment simplicity. And our one more thing for 6.2: a new connector dashboard that offers a better overview of all Appmixer connectors.

💡 In this blog post, we introduce the key features of Appmixer 6.2. For a comprehensive overview of all the features released in version 6.2, including updates to the API, SDK, and automation engine, read our full changelog.
The canvas is where you and your customers build automations. Version 6.2 focuses on smoother interaction and better flow comprehension.
Add notes directly to the canvas to explain parts of the automation for your users or internal teams. Support for Markdown formatting makes it easy to style text, and notes can be freely moved anywhere in the flow.

Tired of clicking tiny zoom icons? You can now zoom in and out using your mouse wheel or touchpad gestures for a more natural, fluid navigation experience – perfect for complex automations.

Flows are now easier to read and manage thanks to enhanced labeling on the component level. Each component now displays both the app name and component name (trigger or action) directly beneath it. You can edit the component name to better reflect your needs.

The Wizard is what your end users use to configure and activate pre-built integration templates. With 6.2, we’re taking another step toward an even better user experience.
As you know, end users can use the variable picker to map fields (e.g., mapping an email field from your app to HubSpot). They can also apply data modifiers for real-time data transformation.
To simplify onboarding for less technical users, you can now disable variables and modifiers in the wizard and predefine values directly in your integration template configuration.

Required fields now use gentler visual validation – users still know what’s mandatory without being overwhelmed by warning messages. This improvement applies to both the automation builder and the integration wizard.

Our Enterprise plan now includes enhanced security and audit capabilities to help you meet enterprise-grade compliance standards.
Appmixer now supports centralized authentication via SSO, reducing the risk of weak passwords and streamlining access for internal teams. Supports both OIDC and SAML protocols.

We talked about the main features in 6.2. Apart from that, our team has cooked up one extra thing to make your integrations even easier.
We’re introducing a new connector dashboard that helps you keep better track of all Appmixer connectors — their updates, available components (triggers and actions), and full changelogs — available at https://connectors.appmixer.com/.

Alongside the new dashboard, we’re also improving notifications about newly added and updated connectors — so you always know exactly what integration arsenal is at your disposal.
May the latest Appmixer version make your SaaS product stickier, help you attract more high-value customers, and win in the AI era. 🍀
